About Me

Ah! You found me.

You have found the creature of many hats! Similar to the ID unicorn, but different in subtle ways. I have had experience in many areas, from building management, on-the-job training, and file management to developing individual support plans, Medicaid billing, and adult day supports. This wide range of tasks and training has improved my ability to adapt, learn, and turn eLearning into an interactive and exciting experience.

I earned my Bachelor of Education and Arts in English from the University of Toledo. Before and after graduation, I worked for several companies focusing on teaching job skills to individuals with developmental disabilities.

During that time learned that technology could help my students bridge various knowledge gaps. In 2011, I transitioned from working in direct care in a warehouse setting to working with the director. The idea is to build educational blueprints for our individuals incorporating technology and programs to help expand their hire-ability.

This work required me to wear my many hats: researcher, creative problem solver, communicator, and information facilitator. With the clients' other team members, I helped design courses and created content that allowed them to flex their strengths and interests while working on their areas of weakness.

Now I aim to bring all my skills and knowledge to building eLearning.
